Directions

Directions from the East or South:
Take the Mass. Pike to Exit 2, Lee.
Follow Route 20 North to Pittsfield.
Turn left to continue on Rte. 20 West (at West Housatonic St.).
At the second traffic light (you'll see a Mobil gas station your right) take a left onto Barker Road
The Berkshire Humane Society Shelter is about 1/2 mile ahead on your right.
Directions from the West:
Take Route 90 East to Exit 11 East (Route 20 Nassau).
Continue on Route 20 into Pittsfield.
At the traffic light (Mobil gas station on your left) turn right onto Barker Road
The Berkshire Humane Society Shelter is about 1/2 mile ahead on your right.
Directions from the North:
Take either of routes 9, 8, or 7 into Pittsfield.
At Park Square continue south to Route 20 W (or West Housatonic Street).
At the second traffic light (Mobil gas station on your right) take a left onto Barker Road
The Berkshire Humane Society Shelter is ahead about 1/2 mile on your right.

Introduction to Rally Obedience
Thursdays 7-8PM

Dog and handler teams will learn the fundamentals of the sport of rally obedience, how to keep your dog’s attention, and to work together to have FUN as a team. Classes are on lead.

Fun With Agility!
Mondays 7-8PM

Learn the fundamentals of agility, obstacles, and develop teamwork with your dog and learn some fun games! Dog and handler teams will be ready for a Beginner Agility class after taking this class.

Advanced/Pre-Competition Obedience
Wednesdays 7-8PM

Obedience classes for those interested in competition at dog shows. Basic obedience training is required prior to taking this class.

Rally Run Throughs
TBA if interest

For dog and handler teams ready for rally competition. A new rally course every week!

Canine Good Citizen
TBA if interest

For dog and handler teams who wish to earn a CGC certificate.

All class sessions are 7 weeks long. Registrations, payment, and proof of vaccinations are due the week before classes start. Contact Jan Marcotte with questions!

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Berkshire Humane Society Intermediate Obedience Class or permission of instructor.

Proof of vaccinations (Rabies and Distemper required. Bordatella recommended) and payment due the week before classes start.

Cost is $85 per 7-week session or $70 if the dog was adopted from the Berkshire Humane Society. Checks should be made out to the Berkshire Humane Society. Payment is non-refundable.

I hereby waive and release the Berkshire Humane Society, its employees and members from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I, my family, guests, or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but not without limitation, any illness, injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of any such illness, damage or injury while attending any

training session or other function of the Berkshire Humane Society,

or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
